3 Tips for Back to School
- Start the year right by teaching your classroom rules, procedures, and expectations. Kids need to know what to expect from you and how to meet your expectations.
- Have fun! Do a fun math activity or two. It doesn’t have to be an ice-breaker, but it could be a math game, math puzzle, or math worksheet that’s engaging.
- Get to know your kids and find out what math activities they like. The beginning of the year is like learning to ride a bike all over again. Kids have to get back into the swing of things, and new groups of students may like different activities. Don’t be afraid to try new math activities this year!
Cheers to Back to School!
