Tips for December
- Have extra plans. There are always things that come up. A holiday guest, an unplanned assembly, or illness. Have a back up plan of fun holiday worksheets to use with your students just in case.
- Make a math memory. The holidays are the perfect time to make a math memory. Plan a fun math Friday, math project, or math holiday party with the kids. They will enjoy it and build class community too.
- Grade and leave. Have a fabulous break without any school work. Grade your papers and leave them at school. Don’t bring anything home to do over the break. Enjoy time with your family and friends.
